Itenerary

Day 1
Depart from Cape Town (see directions below) to Clanwilliam and on to Bushmanskloof. This scenic drive will take about three and a half hours. Upon arrival, unpack and relax or take a swim in the lavish rock pools. Enjoy your afternoon high tea, followed by an evening nature drive in an open vehicle to experience the superb wilderness and environment. View some of the indigenous plains game, such as the rare and endangered Cape Mountain Zebra, Bontebok, Gemsbok, Eland, Black Wildebeest and many others. Your accommodation will be on a full board basis in luxury en-suite rooms with a private patio.

Day 2
Take part in an early morning rock art excursion which departs at 8am, or have a late breakfast/brunch and unwind by the pool, or pamper yourself with a luxury spa treatments [not included in package]. Special afternoon activity programmes will be presented to you by your ranger which will include: mountain biking, walks in the reserve, bird watching, archery, painting, fly-fishing, canoeing or relaxing at the lodge and making use of the facilities that are available. Float wistfully in the swimming pools or lose yourself in the private library. Afternoon high tea is followed by an evening nature drive or one can choose to simply do nothing but relax on the pool deck and watch the serene settings darken from light orange, to a reddish hue as the sun sets over the horizon. The memory of this luxury African safari will forever be embedded in your mind.


Day 3
Depart on a diverse hike to discover more examples of our fascinating open- air art gallery and become enriched as you bear witness to more of the 130 magnificent Bushman painting sites on the reserve. Or sleep in, relax and indulge yourself with the many facilities on hand. Brunch is served and checkout time from Bushmanskloof is 12h00, this is when you depart on your return journey to the Mother City, Cape Town. [B]
